HSFB: HHCA Can’t Keep Pace With Matadors

Hilton Head Christian Academy came up short for the second straight week, falling 58-27 to visiting Memorial Day on Friday.

The Eagles again struggled to get their ground game going, as they were held to negative rushing yardage for the second consecutive game.

Hayden Shinn was 15-of-28 for 276 yards and three touchdowns, and Jace Blackshear threw a 95-yard touchdown pass to JP Peduzzi. Brennen Studenc caught a pair of touchdown passes, and Daniel Harrington had a touchdown catch for the Eagles.

Peduzzi finished with five catches for 134 yards.

HHCA (0-2) has a week off before traveling to Bethesda Academy on Sept. 7.
