HS Soccer: HHCA Boys Return To Championship Game

Hilton Head Christian Academy’s boys continued their defensive dominance Thursday to earn a return to the SCISA 2A state championship match.

Lukas O’Grady made seven saves to preserve the Eagles’ seventh straight shutout – and 11th of the season – in a 5-0 rout of Spartanburg Day in the semifinals.

Evan Berkner scored a hat trick for the second straight match, and Josue Hurtado and Cam Strickland each added a goal for the Eagles.

HHCA will face Oakbrook Prep in a rematch of last year’s title match at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Cardinal Newman in Columbia.
