HS Soccer: BA Boys Back In Championship Game

Beaufort Academy’s boys soccer team is back in the state championship game.

The defending champion Eagles advanced to the SCISA 1A title game with a 2-0 win over Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach on Wednesday.

Ben Trask and Cameron Keenan scored goals for BA, and David Mathai recorded his third straight shutout and eighth of the season.

BA will face The King’s Academy at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Cardinal Newman in Columbia.
