HS T&F: Local Athletes Qualify For Class 3A State Meet

Four area schools competed in the Class 3A Lower State track & field qualifier Saturday at Battery Creek and sent numerous athletes through to the state meet.

The top four finishers in each event qualified for next week’s state meet in Columbia and will join the top four finishers from the Upper State qualifier.

Ridgeland-Hardeeville, Bluffton, May River, and Battery Creek also qualified athletes for the state championships.
