HS Soccer: Seahawks Top Stags In Shootout

Hilton Head High boys’ soccer ran its winning streak to four games Friday, beating visiting Berkeley in a penalty shootout.

The score was tied at 2 after regulation with Nick Kabiri and Geovanny Lopez scoring goals for the Seahawks. Andrew Rico made 12 saves in regulation and stopped two penalty kicks in the shootout to help Hilton Head High earn the win.

Hilton Head (5-3, 4-1) travels to Cane Bay for a key region match at 7 p.m. Tuesday. The Cobras won a shootout to hand the Seahawks their only region defeat March 9.
