Hilton Head Christian Academy baseball scored four unearned runs in the seventh inning for a 5-3 road win over Hilton Head High on Thursday.
A walk and an error set the table for the Eagles in the seventh, but they were down to their final out before rallying for four runs. Daniel Harrington beat out an infield single to load the bases, and John Burke delivered a two-run double to tie it before another Seahawk error on Michael Graupner’s line drive to center brought home two more runs.
Graupner and Daniel Harrington each had two hits for the Eagles.
Reese Malon pitched six strong innings for the win, allowing three runs (one earned) and three hits, and Dargan Cherry pitched a scoreless seventh for the save.
The Eagles (7-0) play at John Paul II at 6 p.m. Friday. The Seahawks (1-4) host Stall for a region game at 5:30 p.m. Friday.
