LowcoSports HS Girls Lacrosse Preview: Bobcats Look Strong Again; Seahawks, Sharks Ready To Take Leap Forward

Only one area girls lacrosse team – the Bluffton Bobcats – made it out of the first round of the Class 4A playoffs last season, but with Hilton Head High and May River returning loads of experience, they could be poised to change that in 2018.

The Bobcats are in good shape to build upon last year’s 11-4 season that ended in the second round of the playoffs, as they return six starters including All-State goalie Maile Paulmeier.

The Seahawks finished 7-7 a year ago and lost a close match in the first round of the playoffs, but with all 10 starters back they are expecting to see major improvement.

The Sharks took their lumps in their inaugural season, going winless, but they also have all 10 starters back and should be able to make a big jump in year 2.
