HSFB: Early Turnovers Hurt Beaufort High

Beaufort High’s football season ended with a disappointing 48-7 loss at Myrtle Beach on Friday in the first round of the SCHSL Class 4A playoffs.

Four first-half turnovers contributed to the Eagles 35-0 halftime deficit, as Myrtle Beach continued its recent offensive outburst.

Jeffrey Smyth’s 80-yard touchdown pass to Jamon Graham helped the Eagles avoid the shutout.

Beaufort finishes the season with a 7-3 record.
