Daniel Harrington threw two touchdown passes and rushed for a score – all in the second half – to lead Hilton Head Christian Academy to a 36-12 win over Bethesda Academy on Friday.
Harrington rushed for 59 yards and a score and was 6-for-9 for 69 yards and two touchdowns passing. John Burke and Brennan Studenc caught touchdown passes, and Chandler Edmonds added a rushing score for the Eagles, who trailed 6-3 at halftime.
Evan Berkner made field goals of 32 and 42 yards and was 4-for-4 on PATs, and the Eagles recorded three interceptions – two by Reece Woods and one by Harrington.
Hilton Head Christian (4-3, 2-1) hosts rival Hilton Head Prep next week. The Eagles can clinch the No. 3 seed in the playoffs with a win.
