Another week of high school football brought another crop of standout performers from the Lowcountry.

The playoff contenders are starting to separate themselves from the pack, and the nominees for the Week 8 RBC Heritage High School Football Player of the Week are responsible for their teams rising to the top.

A little late getting the ballot posted this week, so we’ll keep voting open until 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Here are the nominees:

• Cam Adams, MRHS: 118 rushing yards, 2 TDs in 34-8 win over RHHS

• Zach Bond, THA: 12 tackles, 2 sacks in 35-12 win at Williamsburg

• Zack Doe, JPII: 272 rushing yards, 3 TDs in 48-34 loss at Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach

• Ahmad Green, MRHS: 186 total yards, 2 TDs in 34-8 win over RHHS

• Kyshon Hipp, WBECHS: 9 tackles, 2 INT, INT-TD in 21-16 win over North Charleston

• Collin Kaiser, HHIHS: 30-42, 323 passing yards, 3 TD, 1 INT in 24-21 loss at Cane Bay

• Kyleik Middleton, BHS: 339 rushing yards, 3 TDs in 46-38 win at Colleton County

• Irvin Mulligan, WBECHS: 140 rushing yards, 2 TDs in 21-16 win over North Charleston

• JR Patterson, THA: 203 rushing yards, 2 TDs in 35-12 win at Williamsburg

• John Swinton III, BLHS: 246 scrimmage yards, 3 TDs in 39-12 win at Battery Creek
