HS Volleyball: HHCA Splits Tri-Match In Savannah

The Hilton Head Christian Academy volleyball team split a tri-match Thursday at Savannah Christian Prep, defeating the host Raiders and losing to Georgia power Calvary Day.

The Eagles beat Savannah Christian 2-0 (25-21, 25-22) behind 12 kills and 10 digs from Sydney DeSimone. Lauryn Qualls had five kills and 13 digs, while Cortney Gray added a team-high 15 digs and Olivia Reichenbach had four kills.

HHCA lost 2-0 (27-25, 25-15) to undefeated Calvary Day. DeSimone collected 10 kills and nine digs to lead the Eagles, while Qualls had a team-high 13 digs, Ady O’Grady added four digs and two kills, and Reichenbach had two kills and three digs.

HHCA is back in Savannah this weekend, playing in the Calvary Day Tournament on Saturday.
