The Beaufort Academy girls tennis team remained undefeated with a 5-1 win over visiting Bluffton High School on Thursday.
Bluffton’s Rachel Riley claimed a win at No. 1 singles, but the Eagles swept the remaining matches. The most exciting match was at No. 3, where BA’s Abby Dalton outlasted Rachel Richardson in three sets.
BA (2-0, 1-0 region) is back in action next Thursday, playing a region contest at St. Andrew’s. Bluffton hosts John Paul II at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
