HSFB Player of the Week – Week 1

Week 1 of the high school football season is in the books, so it’s time to reflect on some of the top performances of the week and select the LowcoSports High School Football Player of the Week. While we (that’s a royal we, for the record) will make the ultimate decision, your input will be considered. In other words, VOTE!

The candidates are …

• RB Zack Doe, John Paul II – Rushed for 305 yards and four TDs, including the game-winner in double OT of 26-20 win over Hilton Head Christian

• RB Kyleik Middleton, Beaufort HS – Rushed for 120 yards and the game-winning TD in a 14-10 win over Wando

• WR Jermaine Patterson, Bluffton HS – Caught two TD passes and set up the Bobcats’ other score with a 76-yard kick return in 45-20 loss to Screven Co.

• RB Jabari Williams, Ridgeland-Hardeeville HS – 160 total yards (120 rushing) and two TDs, including the game-winner in 12-8 win at Thomas Heyward
