Callawassie Island Club pro Ben Lee shot 9-under-par over 36 holes to claim a four-shot win in the 43rd annual Hilton Head Open, which concluded Sunday at Moss Creek Golf Club.
Lee was tied for the lead with Secession Golf Club’s Seth Sweet after the pair shot 5-under 67 in Saturday’s first round, but Lee’s 68 on Sunday was the low round of the day and propelled him to a four-shot victory.
USCB golfer Jack Faraci finished second overall and was the low amateur, shooting 5-under for the tournament after carding a 69 on Sunday. Jonathan Sundstrom was third at 3-under, while Sweet and fellow Secession assistant Matt Bova tied for second in the professional division and fourth overall at 1-under. Amateurs Tate Hoisington, Kyle Putkonen, and Matt O’Quinn also finished at 1-under.
