World No. 2 Collin Morikawa to play RBC Heritage

The No. 2 golfer in the world is coming to the RBC Heritage, and he has the kind of game to win at Harbour Town.

The Heritage Classic Foundation announced Thursday that Collin Morikawa has committed to the 2022 RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing next month at Harbour Town, where he tied for seventh a year ago. Englishmen Matt Fitzpatrick and Tommy Fleetwood also committed to play in South Carolina’s only annual PGA Tour event from April 11-17 over the famed Harbour Town Golf Links on Hilton Head Island, S.C.

They join a field that already includes defending champion Stewart Cink and Team RBC Ambassadors Dustin Johnson (OWGR No. 9) and Harold Varner III (OWGR No. 48), as well as past champions and fellow Team RBC reps Matt Kuchar, Graeme McDowell, Webb Simpson and Brandt Snedeker, who are vying for a chance to win another tartan jacket.
