Abby Peduzzi recorded a triple-double as Hilton Head Christian Academy girls basketball cruised to another region win Thursday, routing Thomas Heyward 59-22 at home.
The Eagles were in control from the start, as their dynamic guards and dominant forward Abby Peduzzi picked apart the Rebels. Peduzzi had a double-double by the end of the first quarter and finished with 18 points, 20 rebounds, and 10 steals.
Devon Yarde added 18 points, four assists, and three steals, and Kenzie Buchter had seven points and nine boards for HHCA.
HHCA (19-2, 11-0) hosts Beach on Friday for a non-region game.
