HSGBB: Creek comes up short vs. Landsharks

An electric crowd packed The Palace as Battery Creek girls basketball celebrated seniors Carolina Alvarez and Tatianna Cuevas, but the Dolphins couldn’t deliver a dub in a key region contest, falling 46-36 to Oceanside Collegiate.

Kiara Wilson led the way for Battery Creek, posting a double-double with 14 points and 10 boards, while Ashante Shaw grabbed a season-high 23 rebounds and was just one point from securing a double-double of her own. Genesis Wilson added seven points off the bench.

Battery Creek (9-12, 5-4) travels to North Charleston on Tuesday to wrap up the regular season.
