After waiting more than six months between wins, John Paul II girls basketball made it two in two nights with a 55-18 road rout of Colleton Prep on Tuesday.

A night after snapping a five-game skid with a convincing home win over Thomas Heyward, the Golden Warriors kept rolling with another dominant performance against the War Hawks.
Gracie Henderson stayed hot from 3-point range, draining four triples to finish with a game-high 14 points, and Maddie Heathcott posted another double-double for JPII with 11 points, 13 boards, and three steals. Cayce Graves added six points, six rebounds, and six steals, Alexa Eaddy had six points and eight rebounds, and Ru Bennett added five points and nine boards.
“All of the girls played quality minutes and put points on the board tonight,” JPII coach Karen Floyd said. “We rebounded well and knocked down big shots. Overall the girls are playing with confidence and making up for a lot of lost time due to COVID protocols.”
JPII (4-5, 2-2) travels to Thomas Heyward for a region rematch Friday. CPA (1-10, 1-3) hosts Hilton Head Christian Academy on Friday.
