Hilton Head Prep boys basketball ran its winning streak to nine games with a convincing 69-28 home win over Thomas Heyward on Tuesday.
Junior big man Sean Cusano led the way for the Dolphins, racking up 22 points, nine rebounds, five assists, and three blocks in a dominant performance, and JJ Hayes added 15 points and seven boards.
The Dolphins were in command from the start, racing to a 14-point lead after one quarter and outscoring the Rebels 30-3 in the second quarter to turn it into a rout by halftime.
Andrew Helms added nine points and four assists, and Kane Eanes had eight points for the Dolphins. Brandon Howard led THA with 14 points.
HHP (13-2, 5-0) travels to Savannah on Friday to face Bethesda Academy in a SCISA Region 4 matchup. THA (8-6, 3-4) hosts John Paul II on Friday.
