HSBBB: Balanced Warriors hold off Trojans to remain unbeaten

Whale Branch boys basketball picked up a hard-fought road win in its region opener Tuesday, edging Cross 41-37. 

The Warriors delivered a balanced scoring effort with four players notching eight or more points. Jashaun Gillison led his squad with 10 points, Keith Chisholm and Quaeshawn Fields scored nine each, and Antoine Singleton added eight. 

Whale Branch (4-0, 1-0) hosts Palmetto Scholars Academy in a non-region game Friday.
