Jaylin Linder caught fire after halftime on his way to an 18-point night, and Bluffton’s boys powered past Battery Creek 45-38 on the road Tuesday.

The Bobcats doubled up their Lowco rivals 12-6 in the opening quarter, but the Dolphins trimmed the advantage to 19-16 at the midway point. Linder came out on a mission after halftime, dropping 11 of his 18 points in the third quarter to help Bluffton maintain its three-point lead before the Bobcats closed the contest on a 10-6 run to seal the win.
Nick Yanez impressed for Bluffton with 15 points, and EJ Graham dominated on the glass to earn a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Noah Northway paced Battery Creek’s offense with 12 points, and Kayne Freeman added 11.
Bluffton (2-3) gets a road rematch with Beaufort Academy on Wednesday. Battery Creek (0-5) hosts Beaufort High on Friday.
