Bridges Prep’s boys ran their winning streak to four games with an impressive road win Tuesday, knocking off Hilton Head Christian Academy 55-54 in overtime.


Damien Bee poured in 19 points to go with 10 assists and seven rebounds, Desmond Locke collected 11 points, 10 boards, and four assists, and Jeremiah Ponder hit 4-of-5 3-pointers for 14 points to lead the Buccaneers. Matthew Torres added five points and five boards for Bridges.
The teams were knotted at 10 after one quarter and at 19 at the half before the Bucs pulled out to a four-point lead heading to the fourth. HHCA battled back, though, and forced overtime before coming up short in the extra period.
Bridges (5-2) was back in action Wednesday against Savannah Classical Academy, winning 61-45 at home. Check back to LowcoSports.com later for a full recap of that game.
HHCA (0-2) travels to Bloomingdale, Ga., on Tuesday to face the Coastal Hurricanes homeschool program.
