HSFB: Eagles rejoin Warriors, Sharks in top 10 of S.C. Prep Football Media Poll

A trio of teams from the Lowco are back in the top 10 of their classifications in the most recent S.C. Prep Football Media Poll released Tuesday.

May River moved up one spot to No. 9 in the Class 4A poll after a 37-3 rout of Colleton County, clearing space for Beaufort High to re-enter the rankings at No. 10 following a 45-12 blowout at Bluffton. The region champion Sharks (7-2) travel to Hilton Head High on Friday for the regular-season finale, while the Eagles (7-2) wrap up at Colleton County.

Whale Branch held its ground at No. 5 in Class 1A after hammering Allendale-Fairfax on the road Friday. The Warriors (6-1) are idle this week before opening the Class 1A playoffs at home Nov. 5.
