Thomas Heyward volleyball outlasted visiting Holy Trinity for a thrilling five-set win Thursday.
The Rebels seemingly were in command after taking the first two sets 25-11 and 25-10, but the Mighty Lions came roaring back to win two back-and-forth sets, 25-23 and 25-20. The final set brought more of the same, but the Rebels pulled out the 15-10 victory.

THA freshman Brooke Smith had a huge game with 11 kills, five digs, and two blocks, while senior Emily Hansen added 12 assists and six digs, and Megan Bennett had nine assists and six kills. Lucy Dantzler had a team-high 12 digs for the Rebels, while Macy Taylor contributed a solid line with six kills, eight digs, and four aces, and Natalie King racked up nine kills.
THA (2-2) hosts Dorchester Academy at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
