Hilton Head High girls soccer put together a senior night to remember Friday, earning a 5-0 shutout over visiting Beaufort High.
Senior Abbie Lainhart found the back of the net for the Seahawks while Sarah Neville, Ashleigh Snyder, and Whitney McGuire added a goal each. Julia Kubec headed a ball in off a corner kick, and senior goalkeeper Jannah Tepic earned a clean sheet in net.
“It was a great win for us heading into a very important few weeks of competition,” HHIHS head coach Kit Seelbach said. “All around excellent ball movement with strong wing play. We have started to move as a unit and it shows.”
HHIHS (8-4, 7-1) continues the homestand Tuesday against Lucy Beckham.
Beaufort High (4-6-1, 3-5) hosts Colleton County on Monday.
