Hilton Head looked to spark a comeback as Jayden Lopko smashed a base hit to left, but Cannon stayed strong on the mound, picking up a strikeout to cap off her second complete game in as many days.

The star pitcher got the job done again for the Rebels, going all seven innings with four strikeouts while adding a clutch two-RBI double. Hayes was spectacular at the plate, going 3-for-3 and driving in a run.

Reagan Marchant kept her stellar run going for Hilton Head High, smacking a two-run homer while Leah Anderson added a pair of hits including a double.

Thomas Heyward (8-3, 3-1) plays its third game in three days Thursday at home against Bridges Prep.

Hilton Head (2-12, 0-9) finishes region play on Friday at May River.
