Beaufort High boys tennis continued to dominate its Region 7-4A competition with a 6-0 win over visiting James Island on Wednesday.
The sweep didn’t come easily for the Eagles, who had to win a pair of three-set matches. Tucker Martin bounced back after dropping the first set to win at No. 2, and the doubles team of Walker Perryman and Witt Compton won a hard-fought match in three sets.
Graeme Angus, Diego Alvarez, Bodie Daniel, and Griffin Stone picked up straight-sets wins for Beaufort.
The Eagles (9-2, 9-0) are back in action Thursday at Colleton County.
