HS GSOC: HHP uses fresh legs to frustrate Cyclones for 13th straight win

A week off for spring break did nothing to slow the Hilton Head Prep girls soccer team’s momentum, as the Dolphins blanked visiting Porter-Gaud 3-0 on Tuesday for their 13th consecutive win.

Shania Diaz scored all three goals for the Dolphins, including two early in the second half with one resulting from a beautiful through-ball from Ansleigh Crenshaw. Diaz completed the hat trick with a penalty in the second half.

The defensive line of Ashlyn Parsick, Haley Majors, Bailey Sullivan, Haylee Hopman, and Alexis Terry again proved impenetrable, and Dolphins keeper Sami Heginbottom earned another shutout in goal.

HHP (13-1, 5-0) hosts rival Hilton Head Christian Academy on Tuesday.
