HS BSB: Zoodsma’s late heroics not enough for HHCA

Hilton Head Christian Academy baseball rallied for two runs in the seventh to force extra innings before losing in a 9-8 walkoff in the eighth Monday at St. Andrew’s in Savannah.

Michael Zoodsma’s two-out, two-run single in the seventh gave the Eagles new life, but HHCA left two men on base in the eighth and the host Lions won it on a bases-loaded walk in the bottom half.
