HS SB: Bobcats get bats going in win over Dolphins

Bluffton High softball plated seven runs in each of the first two innings and rolled to a 17-2 win over Battery Creek on Friday.

Katie Ryan set the tone with a leadoff triple, and Reagan Kelly cleared the bases three batters later with a double to get the Bobcats off to a red-hot start. Dani Campos added a two-run double in the third to help Bluffton close it out early.

Alyssa Rose got the win in the circle, striking out five over three innings.

Bluffton (4-2) travels to Hanahan for a non-region matchup Monday.

Battery Creek (1-3) plays a region game at home against Academic Magnet on Tuesday.
