HS BTEN: Bobcats cruise past Cougars for region win

Bluffton boys tennis picked up its second region win of the season with a 5-1 victory at Colleton County on Tuesday.

Adam Buckner gave the Cougars their lone victory with an impressive straight-sets win at No. 1 singles, but the Bobcats swept the remaining courts, including a three-set victory from No. 2 Joseph Nouri.

Garrett Rowe, William Zendzian, and Sebastian Tollefson also won singles matches in straight sets, and Todd Patten and Brendon Halas teamed up for a dominant doubles victory for the Bobcats.

Bluffton (2-2, 1-2) travels to Beaufort Academy for a non-region match Thursday.

Colleton County travels to James Island for a Region 7-4A contest Thursday.
