Hilton Head High baseball finished off a two-game sweep of its rivals Wednesday, downing Bluffton on the road 14-1 in five innings.
The Seahawks pounced for eight runs in the second before plating three more in the third to jump out to a commanding 11-0 lead. Bluffton found the scoreboard in the bottom half, but Hilton Head tallied three more in the fifth and shut down the Bobcats’ final bids on offense to finish off the run-rule victory.

Jack Mastrorocco shined on the mound, throwing all five innings and striking out seven while allowing no earned runs.
Jake Richardson put together a standout performance at the dish, going 4-for-4 with a double and three RBIs. Juju Mlodzinski racked up a trio of hits and an RBI with a double, while Ethan Timperman drove in three runs on two hits including a triple.
Hilton Head (4-1, 2-0) faces a difficult road test Friday at Oceanside Collegiate.
Bluffton (0-2, 0-2) hosts crosstown rival May River on Monday.
