Beaufort High boys lacrosse took on one of the top teams in the region on the road Thursday, falling 13-2 at James Island.
The Eagles couldn’t find much success on offense, but goalie Zach Jindrich gave a tremendous effort to limit the damage.
Keion Joseph scored his first career for the Eagles on an assist from Lucas Michels, and Trey Youngdahl also scored. Theeb Bayyoud and Donnie Lunardini led the way with five ground balls each.
The Eagles (0-5, 0-4) travel to May River for another tough matchup a 7 p.m. Monday.
