The Eagles got off to a slow start, relative to their standards, leading 13-11 after the first quarter, but it did not take long for them to show why they are the reigning back-to-back state champions. HHCA found its groove in the second quarter and took a 33-22 lead into the half.

The Eagles continued to build momentum in the third quarter, outscoring Marlboro 15-7 to take a 19-point lead into the final period. HHCA’s dominance at both ends of the floor gave the Eagles the edge in the fourth quarter, allowing them to advance to the semifinals.

Hilton Head Christian Academy (22-1) will play Orangeburg Prep in the semifinals Thursday at Sumter Civic Center. The Indians advanced with a 35-26 win over Spartanburg Day on Monday.
