HSGBB: HHCA pulls away for win at PCA

Hilton Head Christian Academy’s girls passed a tough road test with flying colors Thursday, winning 54-38 at Palmetto Christian. 

Dior Shelton led the way with 19 points, including 9-of-11 at the foul line, and Devon Yarde scored 10 of her 14 points in the fourth quarter to help the Eagles pull away.


Abby Peduzzi added 10 points for HHCA, and Mary Yanker contributed seven points.

The Eagles (4-0) host Hilton Head Prep at 6 p.m. Friday in the final game in their home gym before moving to their new Bluffton campus next month.
