May River girls tennis completed a season sweep of crosstown rival Bluffton with a 5-1 win Thursday.
The Sharks had to battle through a pair of three-set matches to close out the Bobcats without needing to play No. 1 doubles, but seniors Natalie Bassett, Margaret Zendzian, and Grace Saari all won in straight sets on Senior Day.
May River (4-1) travels to Hilton Head High for a pivotal region match Tuesday. The Bobcats travel to Wade Hampton for a non-region match Tuesday.
