Hilton Head High baseball lost to Ashley Ridge for the second time in three days Wednesday, falling 3-2 on the road.
The Swamp Foxes scored once in each of the first three innings, and Logan Bledsoe made it stand up, limiting the Seahawks to two runs (one earned) and five hits over six innings.
HHIHS finally broke through for two runs in the sixth on Jackson Philpot’s two-run single, but the Seahawks stranded the tying run at third. The Seahawks loaded the bases with two outs in the seventh but couldn’t push across the tying run.
