Whale Branch softball opened region play with a 12-3 loss at Woodland on Wednesday.
Maleeah Parker was in the circle for the Warriors, and her defense didn’t do her any favors, as Whale Branch committed 12 errors. Parker was charged with 12 runs (only one earned) over six innings.
Parker and Trinity Heyward each went 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI.
