Hilton Head High softball opened the regular season with a 21-6 rout of Wade Hampton on the road Monday.
The Seahawks plated at least three runs in each inning, smacking 13 hits and taking advantage of 10 walks.
Reagan Marchant went 4-for-5 with a double, a triple, five runs, and three RBIs to lead the way, while Margaret Todd was 2-for-4 with four RBIs, and Avery Wagner and Shaina Lugo each went 2-for-4 with two RBIs.
Lugo pitched a complete game for the Seahawks, allowing three hits and no earned runs while striking out nine and walking five.
