In a battle of girls soccer powerhouses in South Carolina, Hilton Head High fell 2-0 Saturday to two-time defending 5A state champion JL Mann in Greenville.
The Seahawks made excellent adjustments after allowing two goals in the first half, but they could not find the back of the net.
“Hats off to a talented Patriot squad,” Seahawks coach Kit Seelbach said. “Although the Seahawks took their first loss this season, the girls got better today.”
