BSOC: Seahawks even record with PK win

After a tough season-opening loss to May River, the Hilton Head High boys continued to battle Friday night and earned a hard-fought win in penalty kicks over South Effingham.

Jackson Duncan put the Seahawks on the board with an assist from Dylan Deeb. The second goal came on a beautiful combination play between Tyler Schoeppe, Renzo Andreucetti, and Esteban Quintero. A sensational cross from Schoeppe found Dominic Claudio for his first goal of the regular season.

After a 2-2 stalemate, the Seahawks went on to win the shootout, scoring four penalties to South Effingham’s two.
