Bluffton’s girls showed off some newfound balance at the offensive end and turned in their usual dominant effort at the defensive end to claim a 51-37 home win over Colleton County on Friday, clinching the Region 7-4A title.
Samari Mitchell scored 13 points to lead the balanced effort for the Bobcats, while Tatyana Aiken added 10 points, Tacoya Heyward had eight, Brionne Anderson contributed seven, and Cassandra Gray and Kayleigh Washington each had six.

Bluffton led 16-14 after a defense-dominated first half, but the Bobcats broke out after the break. They outscored the Cougars 17-7 in the third quarter to take control and maintained the double-digit advantage down the stretch.
