A shorthanded Whale Branch boys team suffered its first region loss Tuesday, falling 63-62 in overtime at Allendale-Fairfax.
Shawn Chisolm poured in a game-high 29 points to help the Warriors rally from a five-point halftime deficit, but Whale Branch came up short with star big man Nick Pringle sidelined due to illness. Jaylin Parrales added 10 points for Whale Branch.
