Beaufort High’s boys came up short in a shootout with Colleton County in their region opener Tuesday, falling 86-75 to the visiting Cougars.
Zyrin Odom (17 points, 14 rebounds) and Daniel Phares (16 points, 13 rebounds) each posted double-doubles, and Jamaad Rivers (14), Rush Riley (12), and Oliver Holmes (11) all scored in double digits for the Eagles, but Beaufort couldn’t come up with enough defensive stops to secure the win.
