Bella Termini hit a game-winning 3-pointer with five seconds left to left John Paul II to a 39-37 win over visiting Coastal Hurricanes on Thursday.
The Golden Warriors struggled to solve Coastal’s press for most of the night, but they rallied to overcome a 12-point deficit in the fourth quarter.
Tkai Devore collected 16 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, seven steals, and two blocks to lead JPII. Jasmine Hamilton and Abby Quinty each added eight points for the Golden Warriors.
