Hilton Head High cruised to a 70-34 win over visiting John Paul II on Tuesday night.
Gaston Moore led the Seahawks with 20 points and acknowledged that recognizing and utilizing the team’s strengths was important in the win.
“As a team we talked about driving to the basket, because we knew that was our strength,” Moore said. “We also want a strong team defense, and we did that well tonight.”


Dean Seelbach (9), Jaylen Sneed (9), and Nakeydrick Black (7) also contributed to the offensive success for the Seahawks.
Reco Anderson led the Golden Warriors with 12 points and three steals. Malone Kinard-Huisinger also added 10 points and six rebounds.
