Beaufort High wrestling split a double dual at home Wednesday, falling to Bamberg-Ehrhardt but defeating crosstown rival Battery Creek.
The Eagles came out flat in their first match against the Red Raiders, falling 49-30 despite pins from Gary Bayne (106), Ryley King (138), Michael Cenci (170), and Jeremiah Simmons (195).
Beaufort bounced back with a 51-24 victory over the Dolphins, as Tayriq Legree (113), Matthew Durrance (138), King (145), James Dagin (160), Cenci (170), Simmons (182) and Degin Lowery (285) each recorded pins.
Battery Creek dropped a tough 40-36 decision to Bamberg-Ehrhardt.
