HS Tennis: BHS drops tough match to Myrtle Beach

Beaufort High girls tennis gave top-seeded Myrtle Beach a strong challenge but came up short in a season-ending 4-2 loss Monday in the second round of the Class 4A playoffs.

Madeline Confare and Lucy Aydlette earned points for the Eagles, but the Seahawks were able to pull out a three-set victory at No. 2 singles and win two tiebreakers in the No. 2 doubles match to clinch the victory.
