SCISA volleyball powerhouse Porter-Gaud claimed the Gold Division title in the 16-team Island Bash hosted Friday and Saturday by Hilton Head High.
Seven local teams were in the tournament, including the host Seahawks and Hilton Head Christian Academy, both of which reached the Gold Division quarterfinals.
May River and Beaufort High each lost in the Silver Division semifinals, while Bluffton won the Bronze Division title and Hilton Head Prep and Battery Creek each lost in the Bronze semifinals.
