Bluffton notched its first win of the season in impressive fashion Friday.
Rakim White and Kylan Simmons each scored three touchdowns, and Lee Kirkland threw three TD passes as the Bobcats rolled to a 47-14 win over visiting Hanahan.
White set the tone by returning the opening kickoff for a touchdown, and he was on the receiving end of a 51-yard touchdown pass from Kirkland on the Bobcats’ next possession. Simmons tacked on three rushing touchdowns before halftime to give the Bobcats a 34-7 lead at the break.
Kirkland struck two more times in the second half, connecting with Tre’von Brown for an 18-yard TD and hitting White for a 73-yard strike to cap the scoring.
Bluffton (1-2) travels to Hartsville next Friday.
